Where to start... Well, I guess first and foremost, I'd have to start by saying that I've been obsessed with art since I was probably 2 years old. Pretty much every possible form of it. Painting, sketching, sculpting, and even music. There's nothing like it, and no two artforms are the same, so it's constantly new and exciting. I always had a sketchbook and a pencil with me growing up, and when the 90's hit and I heard Nirvana for the first time, life became art AND music. Playing drums since the age of 13, I delved into a whole other universe of inspiration that stuck with me for decades afterward. Once I started to immerse myself in those worlds, they brought me into a culture that I'm still proudly a part of; Opening my eyes to new methods of creating what was going on in my head, and introducing me to digital art. I've been hooked as far back as I can remember, and I don't plan on taking a break anytime soon.

Freelancing in graphic design since my mid-twenties and playing in bands of all varieties since high school granted me the necessary freedom to be a stay-at-home parent for many years. It even gave me a chance to go back to school in 2013 and further explore what I was capable of doing. There I learned the fundamentals of digital art and layout, and expanded my view of what the "real world" of design was about. I'd already had years of experience with Photoshop, but had never really had the opportunity to use other programs before. So I dove into Illustrator and InDesign, headfirst, and became obsessed with digital media and motion graphics with After Effects. After Effects would become a tool that I would stick with for years to come afterward, making videos and motion graphics for friends, bands and future clients.

Now that
that's over—thanks for visiting my site!
